I've looked but not seen a thread on here yet about it...

This is actually yesterday's news, but I think it is obscene that some one is paid so much, and for failure too...

He so does not need nor deserve that size pension. He is a disgusting, selfish oik.

As for him refusing to give any of it back, he surely can't have been paid all of it already, can he? Can't they just not pay so much after the first year? (not familiar with how that bit works)

I was hoping someone might be able to sue him for some kind of malpractice under the banking code, but not sure that would fly.

it is outrageous. the board has a lot to answer for.

i think the government has a decent chance of coming up with a clever way to claw it back. perhaps that the board breached their fiduciary duty to shareholders by agreeing it?

well i'm sure there are some lawyers busily at work on it ...
