Hassled, no poor woman about her!! What did she think was going to happen? She was always going to get a massive amount of publicity.

But she doesn't seem to be courting publicity - we don't know her name even. No glossy spreads in Hello or whatever, no big newspaper exclusives. In her shoes, I'd sell my soul to the press to pay for all the nappies.

Unless I'm being very naive and this is just a lull while her agent gets the best deal for her.

But I stick with "poor woman" - she won't have time to fart for the next 16 years minimum.

Hope the other 6, including the twins are quite a lot older because if her dh is going back to work in Iraq and she is going to be looking after 14 kids by herself, that is going to be so tough as to be practically impossible surely?

Hopefully the other kids are all around 15-20!

amazed the Drs agreed to it, but I suppose if you pay enough money they'll do anything

goodness the other six are all under 8 (aged 7, 6, 5, 3, 2). I would find it tough managing those 6, never mind having fertility treatment to have more. May not have been her wish so much as her dh's or even his family for all we know.

Hope she'll cope with the 14. I suppose she will just have to somehow but cannot imagine it myself

If she already has 6 children why on earth was she having IVF?

!4 children, I wonder how on earth she will afford to feed them all.

If she and her DH chose to have fertility treatment and chose to no reduction of the embryos, and can afford to support all 14 children themselves, then they're nuts, but it's their choice.

If they cannot support their children, it's disgusting.

I am still that any doctor would consider implanting 8 embryos though....

Sounds as though the woman has huge issues - being obsessed with babies must be awful for her children, as presumably she becomes less interested as soon as they're a few years old. What a bloody awful way to bring kids up.
