good for him Shameful that councils have been getting away with cutting funding and closing rape crisis centres.

I heard about this on the news this morning. The figures themselves are bad enough but what made it even worse IMO was that the buck-passing is still continuing. When they interviewed someone from one of the authorities guilty of this, all they could say was "Well it's not just our responsibility." Ah, so that makes it alright then.

quite - they made the same point in papers. Gits.
