Sportscotland might deny a grant of £75,000 to the Isle of Harris Golf club because they won't open on a Sunday. Sportscotland say that under Equality laws they have to ensure that everything they fund is accesible to all, regardless of religious beliefs, sexual orientation etc etc.

So many questions...

How did we function when no shops at all opened on a Sunday? Were there deaths in the street at 5 on a Sunday afternoon? Will the inability to play golf on a Sunday cause some terrible hardship? Is golf a 'right'? Should I go the Isle of harris on holiday, because it sounds lovely?...
