PenelopePitstops · 12/01/2009 18:29

RIP

RIP... but it really isn't that sad to survive WW1 and live a happy life to 108, is it?

What would be sad is to forget them all. So thanks for the thread Saltire.

SaltireOShanter · 12/01/2009 18:31

The sad was because in a generations from now there will be no veterans(or very few) left from WW2 either. I think we should get all their stories down for posterity.

RIP, Mr Stone.
Just 3 left now. I would say we have fewer than 7 years left to appreciate these gentlemen.
