He has now apparently split from mother of his new child...(allegedly)saying 'I don't do family'

I am afraid I could see that coming a mile off

Just what is this man's problem?

(sorry if you are dd's mum... but ffs!)

On the other hand, this Suzanne gal went with him whilst they were both in relationships with other people. She also didn't use any protection b/c she had PCOS and didn't think she could get pregnant (the gal obviously needs some STD counseling as well as a cerebral cortex). What did she expect? I'm not saying it's fair or right, and heaven knows I've made lots of mistakes, but man, get a clue!

tiredemma · 27/03/2005 09:25

i agree with you expat- i dont feel entirely sorry for her because as you say, she did the dirty aswell really. how stupid to think that a baby could change his philandering ways.

also not using condoms because you didnt think you would get pregnant? something a 15 yr old would come out with.
with his track record you would want him to wear AT LEAST 5 condoms, as i said before, one day his willy may just fall off from rot.

Caligula · 27/03/2005 09:45

What's PCOS?

(Sorry, I've had a sheltered life)

hermykne · 27/03/2005 09:50

NdP
i think you said it - apart from some gay men -
i think he is gay

tiredemma · 27/03/2005 09:50

polycystic ovaries syndrome. i think.

noddyholder · 27/03/2005 10:45

he is one of those sad showbiz types who can never let go of their boyish looks and eventually start looking tragic! He is already looking that way a bit Don't know what they see in him

flamesparrow · 27/03/2005 11:08

I just don't undertand why she thought he would be any different with her - he cheats on every woman he meets, why would she be so special that he would stay???

noddyholder · 27/03/2005 11:15

I don't think its her fault she isn't special enough to hang on to him he is just a prat plain and simple

Caligula · 27/03/2005 11:16

Ah Flamesparrow, the eternal question!

She's not the first woman to make that mistake with an unfaithful man (he'll be different with me!) and doubtless won't be the last...

lou33 · 27/03/2005 14:39

i feel sorry for their baby

CoreyDay1604 · 19/01/2021 20:13

Yes my dad made some mistakes but he was in a bad place and he didn’t understand what it took back then but he is a changed man these days

fucknuckle · 19/01/2021 20:17

@CoreyDay1604 are you actually Darren Day’s child? i’m sorry, you must have read a mountain of terrible things about your dad over the years. that must be tough.

yeah i am and my half sister found all these messages so i just decided to make an account and update his life so people know he’s not like that anymore

OnlyheretovoteonAIBU · 28/01/2021 11:30

Your half sister ‘found’ a 16 year old thread on mumsnet that no one has posted on in years? That must have taken some raking.

If you really are his kid then that’s a shame, but your dad deliberately put himself in the public eye and behaved appallingly so people were bound to comment on it.

I don’t think anyone is still thinking about him now as life has moved on so not sure what there is to gain from replying to 16 year old posts that the authors have long forgotten...

CoreyDay1604 · 28/01/2021 19:23
