I have heard of there being cases in US where infant seats which clip into a base fixed in the car has failed but not specifically Graco. It may not affect UK models because they also have to pass British Safety Standards but perhaps Trading Standards would know. This is the US Recall site and this a UK one .

Don't think so Nikcola - it is infant seats listed.

thank you

Essbee, your DDs booster seat is a Graco so you do own a Graco product...

John Lewis clearly knew this was brewing. When we were shopping for a "from birth" pushchair for dd two years ago I noticed they had no Graco models on display and remarked on it. The saleswoman said very tersely that they had ceased to stock ANY Graco products.
We were OK with ds' old Citilite but it was a vicious sod to unfold, and it didn't stand up to wear like our Maclarens have .
I think this is an absolutely shocking piece of news - such a big name so cavalier about safety. I hope it gets widespread UK publicity.
