here

The BBC insisted that Moyles had "definitely not meant to cause any offence".

Hmm... so that's OK then.

Idiot.

he is an idiotic bully

policywonk · 04/12/2008 17:06

I feel an (entirely deserved) OFCOM stampede coming on...

expatinscotland · 04/12/2008 17:06

I've always thought him a fuckwit of the highest order.

WalkinginWaynettaWonderland · 04/12/2008 17:07

The BBC are going to end up like Ryanair, and have a standard set of apologies they keep needing to wheel out!

bran · 04/12/2008 17:08

Are BBC radio presenters on some sort of mass self-destruct campaign then? Good. Radios 1 and 2 could both do with a good clear out IMO.

NotanOtter · 04/12/2008 17:09

nice

TheCrackFox · 04/12/2008 17:13

He is a bully. He keeps calling the red-head (sorry can't remember her name) out of Girls Aloud a munter. How he can get away with such nastiness is beyond me.

solidgoldbrass · 04/12/2008 17:17

This would only be worth getting your undies in a bundle if anyone had ever thought that Chris Moyles was anything but a byword for 'thick as shit oaf who picks on other people to compensate for the fact that he is too repulsive to get laid himself'.

It's his job to talk a load of moronic shit. SUrely no one listens to him in the hope of hearing intellectual debate in the morning.

ladylush · 04/12/2008 17:17

I can't abide the man. Have never liked him.

mrsmaidamess · 04/12/2008 17:19

Proves what a total prat and smug self satisfied waste of time he is.

It's a real case of The Emporers New Clothes with that idiot...he's unfunny, got no wit, and no conversation.

Can't stand him, and avoid him like the plague whenever his giant head appears on my screen...can you tell??

ChristmasCakeYerbouti · 04/12/2008 17:19

He is a bullying pigdog.

He doesn't deserve his inflated salary.

Anna8888 · 04/12/2008 17:21

The Polish nannies here in Paris all go to a certain nightclub that is frequented by French policemen, firemen etc because, apparently, they just love Polish wives.

ggirlsbells · 04/12/2008 17:23

Can't stand the man.

Let's hope this escalates and they get rid of him.

Tosser.

DIttany: Actually, hasn't he in the past had a go at Jeremy CLarkson and Chris Evans?
In so much as I give a flying fuck what he does I seem to vaguely remember him having a 'feud' with some other gobby male arsehole.

roundcornvirgin · 04/12/2008 20:54

Horrible man.

itcameuponamidnightexpress · 04/12/2008 21:00

gitgitgitgitgit.

He's a complete and utter tosspot.

Apparently he and a number of other ghastly slebs are going up Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief. Here's hoping.

harpomarx · 04/12/2008 21:02

oh, please can he be next to go...

wittyusername · 04/12/2008 21:14

What a twunt.

If Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross had to go, this sorry excuse for a radio presenter needs to be out on his ear.

gemmiereindeerlegs · 04/12/2008 21:17

well i won't be complaining as I wasn't listening. I don't like him anyway and don't think he is ever funny or appropriate.

It narks me how people who weren't listening anyway complain about stuff like this. If someone is annoying or offensive generally (like Russell brand, Chris Moyles, Frankie Boyle) do yourself a favour and avoid it.

wittyusername · 04/12/2008 21:17

Oh and a [roll eyes emoticon] for the various twits who made comments on the link's comments section wondering what the fuss is about and don't understand what is offensive about racist remarks.

LittleJingleBellas · 04/12/2008 21:20

Why are there so many high-profile mysogynists at the BBC?

Why are they employing them?

totalmisfit · 04/12/2008 21:22

his comments are not only offensive but utterly nonsensical. it would the moron can't even string a sentence together.

LittleJingleBellas · 04/12/2008 21:22

i don't think it's valid to say we should just avoid it if we don't like it. The BBC has a huge impact on popular culture and if there is a mysogynist, boysy atmosphere in the "broadcasting to yoof" team or whatever it is, then I think we licence-payers are entitled to challenge it and lobby for more intelligent and less sexist people to run the place.

dinny · 04/12/2008 21:23

yay, does this mean he'll be got rid of??

hope so!
