Has there been any news about Andrew Gosden?

I've only heard of Andrew through Mumsnet - To the Power of Mumsnet!

I find it hard to imagine a 14 year old supporting themselves.

Just bumping this again.

I think about Andrew often and keep doing a MN search in the hope that there has been some news.

I just can't imagine how his poor family coped over another Christmas and New Year period.

Here's hoping he comes home or at least checks in to let them know he's ok.

Just saw info about another missing teenage boy on the BBC news site.

There seems to be so little publicity for these boys though.

Our school received this too.

I find it so sad that Andrew and a couple of other boys who I see have gone missing this year have been given so little press coverage.

I often think of Andrew - as the mother of a 14 year old boy, it is often on my mind. My heart goes out to his family.

But what could have been so terrible at home that he needed to run away without a trace?

There is a boy in our town who looks just like him - gives me the creeps as Im sure it cant be him (rural town miles from his home etc)

This is a very small rural town, not the sort of place anybody ends up in by chance. No hostels, homeless shelters or anything like that. He goes to the college here

Who would I report it to do you think?

I would probably call the local police station and explain that you know that it's a slim chance but you think you may know Andrew Gosden's whereabouts. Then state where you have seen him etc

I was thinking about him the other day when that Missing Live was on TV, that's where I first saw his story really thought he'd be back by now

I hope whereever he is, he is safe and well looked after. Does make you wonder though if he has ran away what could possibly be that bad? I hate to sound sceptical but you can't help but get a bad feeling about these sorts of cases, I don't mean anything about his family but since he left someone knows something and I hope that something will be good news.

Would call the Missing People helpline (this tv programme is on BBC1 at 9.15 Monday to Friday at present for a 4 week run).

I sincerely hope that serious harm did not befall Andrew but there have been no confirmed sightings since his arrival at Kings Cross. The longer he remains missing the more vulnerable he becomes.

I know the father would rather a faint hope than no hope at all.
