How do people not die on these things? Surely people must be hospitalised daily for suffocation or crushing? I really am stunned by this.

No, no more trains as there will be another in another 2/3 mins. That's why they push you in. ..so the next train can arive on time. There are too many people in Tokyo and they all wanna go home pronto!

The Tube in London is nowhere near as bad as that, I used to travel on it all the time, rush hour included and on lots of different lines and it's not like that at all.

Imagine every bus in UK having pushers to ensure maximum capacity. Imagine every tube train having pushers at each carriage. What effect would it have on the unemployment figures? Discuss
