Occupying Harriet Harman's roof for the second time in just over a month.

If they really want to complain about their treatment by the courts, why not target the Secretary of State for Justice? Oh no, he's a man. Let's have a go at the minister for women, instead. Who has no power to do anything about the family courts.

But it is quite funny that they have achieved nothing other than hatred and ridicule from most people.

I supported a friend in a discussion with her ex regarding their child .. he was being advised by 'Fathers for Justice' .. he was taking her to court to insist that their 6 year old flew unaccompanied to visit him even though child had told counsellor she was too scared to do it.

oh and then he said he never had any intention of ever paying any child maintenance (he was supposed to be paying £25 a week)

wtf is that about?

why aren't they supporting the child benefits agency (or whatever its called now?) and encourage dads to pay up for their kids instead of leaving it to the state? that would really prove they were a serious organisation, with the kids interests at heart rather than their own.

Edam - i read a statement from Ms Harman where she said she'd be happy to meet with F4J and/or give them an interview, but her office had had no contact from them at all.

Wankers.

The trouble is, they give a lot of genuine fathers who are fighting for access a really, really bad name.

every time I hear of them I just feel so frustrated that such idiots are out there and puffing their pathetic little egos up.

I have made my thoughts on F4J very clear on past threads. I dont think I can (right at this moment) be bothered to hash it all out again though I am sure later today I will get a bee in my bonnet and post something!!

Suffice it to say - they are a bunch of wankers. They wouldnt know a real man if he was stood right in front of them. They do men more harm than good and are bullies.

My DH thinks even worse of them than I do. AND we have a very dear friend who was a Father with few rights - guess what - now he has full custody. Because he is by far the better parent.

THERE IS A REASON THESE MEN ARE SOMETIMES EXCLUDED. They certainly do not behave responsibly in their forms of protest.

what i wonder is if they are so bothered about thier dc's why do they spend so much time on roof tops/scaling building whens they could be doing something constructive i.e. actually spending time with thier dc's or persuing custody!!

also what about mothers for justice? where is the justice for us when the men walk out and leave us with full responsibilty? who do we turn to to get them to pay/help with chilcare etc.

all i wanted was for my ex's name to be on dd1s birth certificate and for her to some contact with him and his family! i had no legal rights to make this happen nor did i have any support groups that would go and sit on roof tops for me!! maybe it was because they were all too busy caring for thier children?

micci25 you are so right. Most Mothers have more pressing needs on their time. Such as raising children and keeping a roof over your head.

Agree - I think once when backgrounds were probed there was often very good reasons why there had been access problems.

I don't think they do their cause any good by the forms of protest they adopt.

I can't get my exH to see them enough according to the agreement we submitted to the court - ie one evening per week and every other weekend.

His definition of a weekend is 24 hours!!
