The NoW is arguing that he has a responsibility to behave himself because of his job, as if he was an MP or whatever. And the Nazi element came into it because of his father, obviously.

To be fair, I'm not sure that anyone involved in running world motor racing has an obligation to behave themselves in any particular way, regardless of the rights and wrongs of S&M.

I think anyone who fucks someone else in order to sell their sordid story to a tabloid newspaper, is pretty morally vacuous tbf. And yeah, I think people who buy
sex are pretty morally vacuous in this area too. So call me judgemental, I don't care.

SM has no moral connotations for me at all as long as it's between consenting adults with no power imbalance. That's not the case with a prostitute and her client though.
