Power cut in london today

Caught up in today's London power cut. Not being reported: mobiles went down too, on every network. 52 years a Londoner and never seen one cut hit so many postcodes across boroughs. I can't see how one fault explains it. Just my opinion.

Where in London? My mobile is working as is everything else. As you said, it doesn’t seem to being reported.

“UK Power Networks has provided a statement after a power cut this morning impacted thousands of people.

A UKPN spokesperson said: “We apologise for the inconvenience after a fault developed on our underground network in the Shoreditch area at 10.30am today.
“Power supplies were interrupted to several thousand properties and our engineers worked as quickly as is safely possible to reroute electricity to those affected, in stages, until 11.08am when all were back on supply.”

If the power was only out for 36 minutes does that mean I don’t need my wind up radio and 3 days of rations? 😁

It was reported. Uk power networks made a statement. I don’t think it’s any kind of conspiracy of silence or a nefarious act.

Whenever someone says “just my opinion”, it’s a fair bet that’s it’s an opinion based on fuck all, other than their own imaginings.
