Lovely couple she is a star!. I had my dd at the same time and wish I felt ready to have another one, I just don't think I would cope.

fiodyl · 20/06/2008 15:32

Ive only got an 11month gap between my 2 DC and its really not as bad as most peope made out i would be when was pregnant

grouphug · 20/06/2008 15:36

Wow fiodyl you must be super mum, I guess I will feel ready one day, maybe I will have an 11 year gap lol.

fiodyl · 20/06/2008 15:47

lol at supermum, not at all.

I'm not saying its not difficult at all, just not as bad as I was expecting.
Alot of things like making up bottles, nappy changes, preparing meals, bathtime, bedtime story are just as easy to do for 2 kids close in age as they would be for just 1 child.

Also now they are beginning to play together for a while which gives me more time to do other things(MN)

Fiodyl, that is so great to hear! People have been so negative about us having such a small age gap, but I keep saying that when I'm down on the floor changing one nappy I may as well change another.
I'll have 13 months between mine. Saying that I don't think that physically I was ready to be pg again so soon.

fiodyl · 20/06/2008 17:01

sherbet some days they even do sychronised pooing, which makes things even easier!

I got all the negative coments too, and still now get people asking me however do I manage, but I just say 'well theres not a choice not to is there'or ' some people have twins(or more) cope so I can too'

Physically I think m body coped alot better during the 2nd pregnancy. 1st time round was a bit of a shock to the system whereas 2nd was been there done that lol

Thanks for putting my mind at rest.
I think that its because I was sick all the way through my first pregnancy that I struggled at the sicky part this time. My midwife said thats why I'm so anaemic this time. Saying that, I gave up work when I had DS, so its easier this time in that I'm not struggling into work everyday.
I was beginning to wonder if everyone knew something I didn't when they were being so negative, lol.
