That's awful

ruty · 21/05/2008 15:05

terribly sad.

WideWebWitch · 21/05/2008 15:15

Oh no, how awful. She's a mumsnetter I think.

belgo · 21/05/2008 15:16

Very sad. I remember her in the Trumen Show.

WideWebWitch · 21/05/2008 15:17

Poor woman and poor children. God, he was only 42.

Vivace · 21/05/2008 21:38

He was a wonderful man. He was very active in a charity offering free facial reconstruction for children in developing countries whose lives would otherwise be incredibly difficult. I have met him and feel very, very shocked by this.

poppy34 · 21/05/2008 21:40

just dreadful - poor her and children.

EnidBlyton · 21/05/2008 21:45

gosh, same age as me

Piffle · 21/05/2008 21:47

oh that is so sad, they look such a gorgeous couple.
hope she has tons of support those poor kids too and natasha being pregnant too.

TheMadHouse · 21/05/2008 21:48

I am truly sadden to hear this. It always leaves me when children lose a parent so young.

To lose a husband whilst expecting must be heartbreaking

VanillaPumpkin · 21/05/2008 21:48

Oh no, how sad.

misdee · 24/05/2008 13:28

he died from dilated cardiomyopathy

Buda · 24/05/2008 13:31

God misdee - that must be scary to see.

I was sad to read this too the other day.

She must be devastated.

misdee · 24/05/2008 13:33

it is in the sun

i still hate this disease. its a silent killer.

Prufrock · 25/05/2008 10:01

I've just read his obit in yesterdays paper. If you are still a Mumsnetter and happen to read this Natasha, I am so sorry for your loss. Your husband was a truly inspirational man who changed the lives of so many people - I hope you are getting all the support you can in this dreadful time.

WilfSell · 25/05/2008 10:04

There was a feature on him in the Indy. Seems he was an amazing all-round talent: brilliant surgeon, talented artist and musician, sportsman and ex male model.

And donated his surgery skills to charitable causes.

Obviously any sudden death is a loss to any family, but such a talented person dying young is a loss to us all.

NomDePlume · 25/05/2008 10:11

Very, very sad

conniedom · 25/05/2008 21:03

She has wrote a tribute to him, here It is so moving.

Buda · 25/05/2008 22:00

So so sad.

They say only the good die young.
