John Humphries / Gordon Brown - last week on Today

Just wondered if anyone caught J Humphries interview with G Brown think it was Thursday last week? Meant to ask you lot about it and never got online. Mainly about 10p tax debacle. But wondered what you all thought about Humphries style of interviewing. I thought it tipped into rude........

John H has lost it imo. He used to ask the right questions and get in about them a bit. Now I think it is all about him being John Humphries.

I've got so cynical - there's hardly any point in having these interviews any more, since no politician will answer and question and they rarely get pressed on anything anyway.

i think though he's geared up for knowing that they wont answer so starts off aggressively i guess...
what came first the evasive politican or aggressive interviewer?

i heard him (jh)interview asher d (so solid crew) the other day and it was interesting and informative non aggressive but then he's an actor singer and was trying to answer the questions

i think the politicans are too schooled in the format of it all these days (they all have the hand motions most noticeably employed by trust me i'm tony blair)

god help us if they only agree to go on LKtoday or some such pap
