this woman has 12 children (nothing wrong with that, i'd keep going if I wasn't such an old crone) but two of her children are just 9 months and 9 days apart. Can you actually conceive days after having a baby, even if you aren't breastfeeding, which I don't think she was.

OMG! Surely the female body just isnt ready for another baby so soon afterwards? I heard it takes around 9 months for your body to be ready for another pregnancy?
And at having sex so soon afterwards?
Surely it would hurt?
And the lady that had sex that night - she must have been bleeding LOADS?!
Why would you want to?
I had a baby 4 weeks ago, and still havnt had sex (poor dp), and am still bleeding a little so wouldnt anyway, but

and

i conceived dd1 when ds1 was between 6 and 8 weeks old,but i couldnt imagine even entertaining the idea of sex for the first 3 weeks when you are still bleeding

i really hated being pregnant but i have 5 children.what is 9 months for a lifetime of joy?
