.. I just can not stop thinking about her. She muest have been terrified. 1st time she was alone with just a medical book.....

For those of us who have given birth, we know how scary and pianful it is - can you imagine being alone?

Good God, that woman has been to hell and back.

He deserves to rot in hell.

Beyond belief, isn't it? Can't comprehend what it must have been like.

WhatSheSaid · 10/05/2008 09:50

6 times. One set was twins - one of them died .

(Sorry, being pedantic!).

All the focus seems to be on him, how he did it, why he did it, is he insane etc etc. I just think about how a young girl's life has just been totally taken away from her. And giving birth alone - I read his statement and he said "Well she was scared but I got her a book! And disinfectant and towels!"

Hideous man. He deserves to be locked in a cellar for 24 years, see how much he likes it.

Flame · 10/05/2008 10:09

You still have to get 7 children out of you... even with twins

I am all for locking him in a cellar and raping him on a regular basis.

im up for revenge.

theAfkaUrbanDryad · 10/05/2008 10:18

well, KM, as one of "hysterical women" you might be talking about

i think he needs to be removed from society as soon as possible.

i don't know what can be done with him - he's obviously a very sick man.

so for Elisabeth and the children though.

wannaBe · 10/05/2008 10:21

and having to go through the death of her baby on her own. With no-one to support her, to be there for her. .

Actually I think a cellar is too good for him. But not sure there's really a suitable punishment - it's at times like this when I wish I believed in a higher power that will exact a suitable punishment when he dies (which cannot be a moment too soon imo).

JodieG1 · 10/05/2008 10:26

Evil man.

SSSandy2 · 10/05/2008 10:33

I find it really difficult to understand how this man who says he feels no remorse at all could have managed to block out any positive feelings towards his own daughter. I mean he saw her grow from babyhood, has he never wanted to protect her, look after her, see her happy?

He was unspeakably cruel to her - handcuffing her in a cellar, going down to rape her at will, leaving her to give birth alone - with a book as aid fgs! Then continuing to rape her in the one room she had there in front of her own small dc before he went on to build more rooms. Going away on holiday for 4 weeks at a time. The whole thing is horrific.

The fact it was her OWN FATHER must have messed her up no end on top of the violence and the hopelessness of it all. I really hope she gets all the help she needs to give her a chance at havign some kind of real life from now on.

wannaBe · 10/05/2008 10:43

in the interview with him that was published in the media this week he says he did it to protect her. that she used to go out with undesirable people so he had to bring her back for "her own safety"

WhatSheSaid · 10/05/2008 10:46

Yes I read that, that she was going to bars and smoking and drinking. So he wanted to protect her from the world.

Because of course the life he gave her was so much better.

Am so angry he could do this to anyone, let alone his own daughter. Sorry, but I'm all in favour of revenge too.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/05/2008 10:47

DH said the father had said something along the lines of that he wasn't as bad as people made him out to be, because he could have just killed them all, but nope, he let them live - what a nice man!

wannaBe · 10/05/2008 10:49

maybe it would have actually been better if he had killed them all. I would imagine that only the youngest child probably has any chance of ever having a near normal life now. .

JulesJules · 10/05/2008 10:50

Yep, another vote for revenge here.

C2ndbaby · 10/05/2008 10:50

Can I just add I really feel for her I don't think any of us can imagine what she went throught but we also have to remember that her seven/six children whent through this with her.
I really don't think that any of them would EVER get through this. It is easy to move on but would they EVER forget!!!

I don't think any punishment that her farther receives here on earth could justify what he did to her and her children. At least I believe in God and believe that He would give the ultimate punishment.
