Is it possible to end the war without giving land to Russia?

I've just had a heated conversation with my husband about this so hoping someone more knowledgeable than me can provide some insight.

We were talking about the current Trump/Russia/Ukraine and to my great surprise my husband essentially said that he sees where Trump is coming from in that it wouldn't be possible to end the war 1) by directly including Ukraine in this stage of talks and 2) without allowing Russia to keep the Ukrainian territory they are occupying.

I am well aware of the grave concerns with this approach and what it could mean for the future of Europe - but what I'm unsure of is the response to my husband's question: what is the bargaining chip that could (realistically) be used to get Russia to withdraw with Ukraine borders intact? Is there one?

I don’t think all economic sanctions are used up. Also the visa restrictions are far too weak.
Who cares about where Putin is allowed to travel? The travel should have been forbidden for all these lower level civil servants and their families. It would be much more effective.
