270 kids without a primary school place AT ALL where I live. The LEA assumes we will go private (they told me). That, for me, is one typical example of Tory political reasoning.

And their dumb politics usually leads them down some line of "well, if you were clever/hard working/thrifty enough, you'd be able to send your kids private. And if you can't then you belong in the gutter. And probably your genes are wrong because breeding always shows." Gah!

We moved back to London from barcelona 2 years ago (what fools we were! What were we thinking?!) and I actually thought that in the time we had been away (5 years) London had really improved and we seemed like a credible city again. Now I feel like a fool. especially as one of the reasons we moved back was for the schools...
