Another child murdered at the hands of the mothers 'boyfriend'

The murderer however had been in this child's life for only 36 days apparently.

Its very upsetting in case people dont know about it already

It’s horrendous. This is the mother who chose to make herself homeless and camp out with this new partner and the little girl when the council wouldn’t house him. Yet again a mother putting her love life ahead of her child’s safety.

What kind of mother stands by and allows a man to do that to her child? She had options but chose to stay with him. Serious questions need to be asked about a mother’s suitability to look after her child when these are the decisions she is making.

That video of them, that is truly shocking.

They are monsters.I hope she doesn't have more children.

She should automatically have any future children taken away at birth

I read about this last night and it brought me to tears. How any mother can stand by whilst her child is abused by anyone is beyond me.

That poor poor little girl. I hope that her mother gets what she deserves for the atrocities her daughter experienced in her short life.

These poor children. Time and time again. You just want to scoop them up and save them from these awful monsters. Why on earth can't they just give their babies up for adoption if they aren't capable of loving them.

Flame me but I’d give him the death sentence and could possibly be persuaded for the mother to be given life imprisonment but death sentence wouldn’t bother me.

Atrocious - they are sub human

My dd knows so many teen girls that go out with vile little twats that treat them hideously and they just keep going back to them. At least 5 girls she knows stay with boys like that. I see horrendous stories like this and worry this could be ahead of any one of them. Why are they so pathetic that they stay with boys that abuse them?

It doesn't help that girls and women are spoken about disgustingly in the music they listen to and that vile levels of misogyny are glorified in the media and in p##n

I can’t get my head around how there’s that photo of her smiling with her daughter on the swing, looking like an ordinary mother, and yet that same person seen on video laughing whilst pushing her dead child around. How does one go from one to the other?! What completely evil people they are.

Did you read the comment by the biological dad? He makes it all about him. ‘She was an extension of me’.

36 days is a joke. How can you know someone well enough to trust them with your kids, when your child has only interacted with them for a month?

Apparently there was drug use involved, but the biological parent involved was likely an atypical parent regardless. You surely have to be quite callous to do that regardless of drugs

So the 7 week trial lasted longer than the time it took for this pair to reach the outcome that they will now go to jail for?

I noticed that too...now bio dad wasn't guilty and don't really know much about him and perhaps it was well meaning and what he felt capable of saying in the moment but I notice this so often when I hear comments like this or 'now I won't get to see them grow up'. Nothing about their torment e.g. 'their life or future has been cruelly taken away from them'. I get there is a horrendous sense of loss but where there is no comment for the child's suffering and all 'woe is me', I think this indicative of a dynamic where the child's role is to serve the adult's emotional needs which should never be their burden.

These fuckers breed but once the child arrives they're an inconvenience and drink/drug lifestyle continues.
I knew of one which I did report to ss as the woman acquired a junkie boyfriend, think along the lines of DV etc.
She couldn't get her child to first day of school but could get to the shop for a bottle of vodka incidentally the shop was further away than the school.

She wasnt on drugs the whole time this was occuring and neither was he

In fact she makes the point that when he started on her daughter at first, she thought he was just frustrated because he couldnt get his drugs that he wanted and that he would get better after a while, so she made a concious choice about what was happening to her daughter and tolerated it willingly

Im not sure thats fair, when victims are asked to make the victim impact statement, it is about the impact on them as victims (the relatives of the deceased)

I dont know if that was from his formal statement or not but if it was, thats why its about him. Its often included in the sentencing weighing up how its impacted on those around the deceased.

That’s so disgusting. I honestly just question her motivation in having a baby to begin with
