I think it sounds bloody terrifying but it could be the Mail shitting me up which they like to do.

I've seen them on 2 occasions in my area. They do look and move outside the norm for a drone or plane.
No idea what they are and not seen them for a couple of weeks (but it's been awful weather here). I'm not giving my location but its not one that been in the news or near an airbase.

It sounds really ominous when you read the press coverage.

I think they are more likely our drones and the military wanting more funding so blames putin

Can't bring myself to read Daily Mail coverage. It's...odd. Pentagon saying mass hysteria, apparently. Maybe it is a big hoax. The Russians or Chinese with loads of fake post on social media and a few people that think they've seen something that they haven't really.

I've seen some of the footage from New Jersey and it's bizarre - an absolute swarm of the things in the sky. The US media has really played it down so far, but I agree with you OP that it's very concerning and I wouldn't put anything past Putin. With the new US and UK weapons being fired into Russia for the first time recently, the timing fits too.

I saw footage of one being floored by a laser in the UK. They’ve taken it apart and found it’s collecting data.

I’m really interested in this as it is, to understate things, bloody odd.

There gave also been drones at RAF Lakenheath before this and that was acknowledged by the military.

Don't know. As it seems to be US based, some kind of coordinated state or non-state actor.

As in targeting US bases.

Presumably some sort of uk/us military manoeveres going on to counter the new drone threat

I'm in NJ visiting family and have only been following dronegate loosely but I knew via SM that they'd been seen nearby.
Went out last night around 7pm to run some errands and lo, there were drones flying over the car park.
As a layperson with little drone knowledge they looked a lot like the ordinary kind that can belong to anyone with a spare $100+ but I was aware that 1) I couldn't hear them and 2) it was very hard to judge how far away they were, thus how big they were, so although they looked 'normal' it was impossible to know if they were "the size of a minivan" as I keep hearing about the current lot.
As a paranoia tactic it's very effective! I felt like Henry Hill looking for helicopters in Goodfellas.

I may have been over thinking this but.... if it is aliens about to make contact then its just occurred to me that they would probably be directed towards the President of the US as commander in chief of the US military (especially if its US military bases they contact). Who would, by then, be Trump.

I live quite near to a military base in the UK, and never think about it.

A couple of weeks ago, I was talking to my DD in my bedroom early one evening when I saw the entire world light up outside, like lightening but it lasted marginally longer and seemed to light up from the ground upwards. Maybe like a gigantic firework flash with a green tinge.

My DD didn’t see it as she was facing me, and when I was saying, “What was THAT?!” and trying to explain, she said I might be delusional 😂. I forgot about it after that. I don’t mention it to anyone else, including my DH.

A few days later, my DH was laughing about our local FB page and said that there are people on there saying they have seen UFOs and “flashes in the sky”.

I asked to look, and I found one man on there said he had seen a green flash, like the one I described, and that it seemed to have come from the direction of the air base. That is actually the direction my window faces in too. The weird thing was, he wrote about seeing the flash a couple of nights before I did. And no-one else seemed to have seen it, just as no-one saw the one I did it seems.

This was over the same period that people had been posting videos of “UFOs”. Some of them are well known tin foil hatters. One isn’t though, he is a photographer who I know and he is pretty sensible, and he put that nothing was showing on the flight radar data while he was filming, and some people were saying it looked like a really big drone. I’d have written it off as nonsense, but I definitely saw something unusual coming from that way !
