Is your 1st born child more intelligent than the others?

According to this article the oldest child has the higher IQ and and the youngest child in the family the lowest.

Obviously I used agree being the elder child.

However, with my own children not so sure. DS1 seems more 'academic' (lol at 4 yrs) whilst DD aged 2 exhibits a scary criminal intelligence that's more calculated than anything ds can do.

..or is this just pseudo science?

dd1 is very bright and academic - but I think that's partly due to all the PFB energy poured into her - it's still going on a bit I guess.
Ds (the youngest) is only 4 so it's hard to say. Dd1 was certainly a lot more advanced at this age than he is, but then he is a boy... he does seem bright and is much more independent than dd1 was (I'd still be wiping her bum and dressing her if it was up to her I think )

Too early to tell here but
ds1: extremely bright but not really in an academic way. Fab reader and above average definitely but I envisage him to be non-academic later on
ds2: only 3 but is bright in a more creative/emotional way

I am the oldest of 3 and have to agree that the oldest is definitely the more intelligent

DS1 is bright
DD is exceptional
DS2 is doing fine (only 2 atm)

I am the eldest and are much brighter than the other 2 kids my father had with his cow wife.
