a woman has been arrested after a video circulated on Twitter, apparently showing a female prison guard giving oral sex and then full penetrative sex to a male prisoner. A second male prisoner is seen smoking a joint, filming on his phone and making some comments.

I’m flabbergasted at the lack of judgement in this woman’s actions.

As with so many “services” in this country it’s difficult to see how the prison service can be turned around at this point.

The woman guard has an Only Fans account. She and her partner have an open marriage and have appeared on a tv show about swingers.

To me it opens up a few questions. One being the vetting procedure that decided she was a suitable candidate to be a prison officer. Another being the advisability of have female guards in a male prison and male guard in a female prison. Also what on earth is the security and discipline in the prison like that allowed this to happen. Perhaps incidents like this are the norm there but this was the first time a video was leaked.

I see she has now been arrested and charged.

I’d seen the OnlyFans rumour, but not sure how true it was.

I guess the vetting can’t be too stringent because they struggle to recruit.

I have a lot of sympathy for the "decent" women prison guards working in male prisons because this sex video is going to make their job that much harder. It's going to really undermine their ability to command respect and discipline.

God, yes. I really think it takes some guts to work in a prison, especially knowing how chronically understaffed and under-resourced they are.
(Reminds me, there was an interesting Radio 4 programme where an ex-female prison guard speaks about her breaking the law. I think it was drug-smuggling).

I am wondering how much she cynically planned this. She’s already been on TV on a sex programme. This will give her notoriety and a chance to make more money than she would earn in the prison, why let it be filmed if she was even remotely worried about her job.
