Save Southall Black Sisters
Southall Black Sisters provides information, advice, advocacy, practical help, counselling and support to black and ethnic minority women and children in South London experiencing domestic and sexual violence. They provide support and services to help them escape violence and abuse and deal with a range of interrelated problems such as forced marriage, honour crimes, rape, sexual abuse, harassment and racism. In January 2008 Ealing Council voted to withdraw funding to this organisation, as part of a programme to 'streamline' social care and counselling provision in the borough. Help Southall Black Sisters to carry on helping some of the most vulnerable people in society by signing the petition here
