The Hogan family again

I know its been done before but its been in the news a lot today and the whole thing is just so tragic. I look at the father who looks a broken shell of a man with a lifetime of torture over his actions. The I look at the mother who needs to feel like she is acting on behalf of her children, both of them in different ways. I understand that she needs to take the action she wishes to take to punish him for what he did. There just doesn't seem an answer really.

mr hogan comes from a family devastated by mental illness iirc. I as an uninformed media spotter interprets his actions as trying to hurt his wife for her action whether it be infidelity or the breakdown of the marriage. How much of a role mental illness played can only be determined by specialist psychiatric folks I suppose.
all I can know for sure is that there are a lot of victims in this and not one winner. Devastating events. Do not blame natasha hogan seeking some kind of punitive justice, nor for mr hogans mother to seek freedom for her son.
just sympathy and real pity for that family. Although trying to keep an open mind about mental illness I still cannot summon up the same sympathy for mr hogan.

I'm struggling to know how to phrase this, but I would always be in poor metal health if I murdered my child.
