newsflash: in the Spectator and the Sun offices, the assumption is now that no 4/5 or 5/6 (anyone else losing track) are indeed paxo and humphreys

OK, that's totally irrelevant, but I was quite struck. Stood behind him in the queue at the Labour Party conference once. He looks about 6 foot plus when he's sitting down, but is actually average height.

I've just been wrapping SH's book for my dad's stocking, which I hasten to add, was bought long before I saw these threads, and the 'headline' on the back cover (sorry ks, I'm sure there's a proper name for it) reads:

THIS MADNESS MUST STOP

but when will it ? I always thought I'd, erm, had quite a 'past' but suspect I've actually led a very sheltered life.

Read an article in the Metro this morning about how KQ could get £1m for her diaries. Her husband was quoted as saying that she would never publish them because it would be too humiliating for him. ????? So this hasn't been humiliating for him so far????

I'm not sure whether he was shorter than you or not, KS; it was about 11 years ago, after all (although I doubt he's shrunk). He was taller than me, but that isn't exactly difficult.
