£24 million tp Paul is like 24p to you and me but thats not the point she does not deserve it.
Beyatch

beaniesteve · 17/03/2008 15:39

Gosh - I didn't know about that Journalist having her identity used (not stolen, I think that would be going too far).

A freind of mine once passed off my window dressing as her own work in an interview. We're still mates, but theyn we were mates to begin with.

I wonder if she is just a chancer.

Still doubt she married him Just for his money though. I think that accusation is really unfair.

LieselVonTrapp · 17/03/2008 16:03

She was a model i6.photobucket.com/albums/y225/alexxshannon/blog2/heather-mills4_252404y.jpg

beaniesteve · 17/03/2008 16:07

How nasty!

LieselVonTrapp · 17/03/2008 16:07

Who, me??

MarsLady · 17/03/2008 16:09

And this from a woman that wasn't in it for the money!

LieselVonTrapp · 17/03/2008 16:12

...she said she didnt even know him 15 years ago and had never heard of the Beatles

Blandmum · 17/03/2008 16:17

Never heard of the Beatles

Really?

Cou-bullshit-gh

Where has she lived all of her life, under a rock?

Youcannotbeserious · 17/03/2008 16:17

Oh come on Beanie - she wouldn't have married him if he was just a regular poor wrinkly, would she?

As Mrs Merton said to Debbie McGee: 'So, what did attract you to Millionaire Paul Daniels'

I actually think that this case has serious implications for the way these cases are dealt with....

No-one disagrees that Macca should pay for his child and, to be fair to him, he has stepped up to the plate as far as his child is concerned... So, to what extent can the mother of the child expect a free ride at the father's expense?

And, again to be fair to him, he offered her £30M at the start of all of this, and she refused.

Lives up to the 'hell hath no fury' line, anyway....

beaniesteve · 17/03/2008 16:17

yes.

horrible nastiness in the air generally though.

mumemma · 17/03/2008 16:23

I think she made a comment along the lines of "if I was just looking for someone with money, I could have found someone richer than Paul McCartney"......really?

I think she makes things so much worse for herself - she has a chance now to lower her profile and live a very privileged life. The press would soon get bored and leave her alone but she comes out and makes these ridiculous statements which starts it all off again!

OP posts:
LieselVonTrapp · 17/03/2008 16:24

She probably could have but he was the only one that would have her

Blandmum · 17/03/2008 16:25

She'd never heard of the beatles?

goggles wildly.

Then I googled.

THey score more hits than the Pope and George Bush! And slightly less than the Queen and The Moon!

And she'd never heard of them?

Almost as many mentions on Google as the moon and she'd never herad of them?

noddyholder · 17/03/2008 16:27

how much more could you possibly want?

Lucyand2 · 17/03/2008 16:29

I love the fact that she's lamenting how she won't be able to fly her daughter first class anymore. My heart really bleeds for her, poor lamb

mumemma · 17/03/2008 16:30

Apparently she asked for £125m.

OP posts:
solo · 17/03/2008 17:22

Well, £2.43 would sit well in my very empty purse right now!
I always thought HM was a gold digger. Don't like her and never will.

If he'd been so awful to Linda by keeping her tied to her tambourine so that he could keep tabs on her, surely she would've divorced him AND have been entitled to half his money, so well worth doing . I always got the impression they were a very happy couple. I don't think PM was ever truly happy with HM.
And I like the Beetles and Wings and Paul McCartney in general

Milliways · 17/03/2008 17:31

They were saying on Radio 1 that she is complaining cannot take her daughter 1st class anymore. Apparently spends £17000 a time on 2 1st class tickets, 5 times a year which is now not affordable!

My heart bleeds.....

pagwatch · 17/03/2008 17:38

I am very pleased that she got all that dosh. At least she can buy an outfit to replace that hideous affair she was weraing in court today.

SoupDreggon · 17/03/2008 17:41

I heard that, Milliways!! She was whining about howsad it was that B wouldn't be able to fly first class. TBH, any remaining sympathy vanished at that point.

Taweret · 17/03/2008 17:43

I think she is probably quite ill - she seems to be rather paranoid, and is certainly very distressed a lot of the time.

I think the whole situation is very unbecoming to both parties.

And I think Sir Paul can afford an extremely well-oiled publicity campaign, with experienced media professionals who are well-versed in damage limitation.

I thought that the proceedings would be held in public now if they couldn't reach an agreement?

Perhaps that would be to Heather Mills' advantage, as she may actually have evidence to substantiate some of her claims.

I can't believe Sir Paul is merely a wronged paragon of virtue.

No fan of either of them though.

expatinscotland · 17/03/2008 17:48

I'd have gladly married that old geezer and stayed with him for 4 years for half of that.

Blandmum · 17/03/2008 17:54

re the flights thing.

If she invests the cash and gets 5% return she will have

£1,150,000 a year to live on

5 first class tips at £17000 a pop is £85,000

So she would still have £1,065,000 a year left over

My farking heart bleeds.

Not!

That is over £20,000 a week

ruty · 17/03/2008 17:58

Blimey. It is almost worth marrying an old codger who hasn't written anything decent musically for the last 35 years.
