"So we spend our late teens and twenties fretting about whether our bums look big in this, when we should of course be jumping up and down on trampolines every spare moment we have."

I like to wear nice clotes, have my hair blow dryed - I generally make an effort everyday - however I totally despise the label of YUMMY MUMMY!

Lots of childless friends would call me that as soon as I had my children.... DUH...i told them to fxck off!

It implies that i only care about my appareance when it is just a single aspect of being a mummy!!!

GRRRGRRR i hate the term!!!

oh sorry wrong link

Yummy Mummies Make Mothers Depressed

How do you feel about your body?

I'd prefer my body as it was before children 68%
Having children has made no difference to how I feel 17%
I prefer it now 10%
I've never given it a moment's thought 2%
Don't know 3%

I'd like my tits back!

The rest I can happily live with (I think)

I can now identify with the saying "You don't know what you've got til it's gone"

agree with pruners. If im feeling overweight and flabby I dont equate it with the fact that Ive had children, I just think ive eaten too much.

Seeing fit, toned healthy women makes me feel a bit but not more so if they are mothers.

Yeah, well I think this article sucks cos I spent half an hour on the phone to the journo. 2 hours with DD and a photographer (during her nap time, she was 'orrid) that they sent 300 miles to see us and then they ran with a picture of Myleene fuckin Klass instead of ours and didn't even quote one 'normal' person. For gods sake, show some normal mums who are happy with their bodies to give some people a bit of hope instead of yet another picture of Myleene 'back to work and a size 6 in 3 weeks' Klass. ARRGH!! (didn't take the not using us personally or anything)
