I didn't think much of Steve's 'talent' either on X Factor but booing him off the stage is rude and inexcusable . Whatever happened to politenes and common courtesy? Give the poor chap a chance. If he's any good, the album sales will speak for themselves.
Personally, I wanted G4 to win. But I don't wish Steve any ill. He won and that's that.

ZCMUM · 15/12/2004 23:11

Tell you what, wasn't sure if that was actually a picture of Slimy Steve or not, the resemblence is uncanny!!!

SantaFio2 · 16/12/2004 07:07

tbqh i think it is cruel. The whole x factor/pop idol thing is cruel. Aloit of them are bits of kids who have never sang outside their bathroom before and they go on these shows niavely and get the shit ripped out of them, imo its not fair :9 half the crap acts in the charts cant sing live at gigs let alone on live tv. As for steve, he is slimey but i dont think it is necessary to boo a 'normal' bloke off stage for trying. And sharon osborne just LOVEs the cameras and that why she said what she did, not cause she means it because lets face it - what is she actually famous for?!

Furball · 16/12/2004 07:25

"He was extremely shaken and looked to be holding back tears. It made him look like a novice, especially alongside the likes of Kylie Minogue, who also sang."

I thought he was a novice? Even though he's been doing the clubs for years, still it's abit different from TotP for cripes sakes.

I too wanted G4 to win, but Steve did and thats what the public wanted. Mind you, what do we the public know, last year Michelle won.
