Oh KM, I see where you're coming from, but I still have that hollowed out dark circled look now despite being 9 1/4 stone! I call it tiredness

OracleInaCoracle · 25/02/2008 10:18

for annie

Kewcumber · 25/02/2008 10:24

"three adopted children and now two or even three of their own" - I think I understand what you mean but it isn't considered to be a good idea to refer to biological children as "their own". It implies that their aopted children aren't their's but somehow temporary.

I would imagine any family of four childrne could give you plenty of advice on sibling rivalry if thats what you're after I don't think Aj has any secret - I haven;t ever heard they have 4 nannies and am pretty sure the press would be salivating over it if they did.

Kewcumber · 25/02/2008 10:28

I think the "Is she fair game to make any speculation you like because she is a cleb" is an interesting one. I try to avoid nasty speculation about clebs I don't know (as opposed to the ones I do know ) not because I worry about their feelings or whether they can take it or even deserve it. I try to refrain because it doesn't reflect well on me bitching about someone I don't know, it makes me feel uncomfortable about myself, so I don;t do it.

I am a saint.

i cant get over how thin she looks in that picture, not slim but thin..her waist above her baby bump!..shes is undenyably beautiful, but far too thin at moment

ROSEgarden · 25/02/2008 10:34

oops sorry wasnt being awkward there, i hadnt read anything but the op so didnt know youd all already done the 'thin' bit to death

NorthernLurker · 25/02/2008 10:36

Bless you Rose - I was about to bang my head against the nearest wall - won't now!

Janni · 25/02/2008 10:50

Kewcumber - you're absolutely right, of course, that was very careless of me, and probably unforgiveable given that one of my three DC is adopted I think I was just getting a little fed up of everyone going on about her weight rather than considering what a phenomenal job it must be to raise all those children, particularly given the extra emotional needs of the adopted ones.

ROSEgarden · 25/02/2008 10:53

LOL, thats me all over jump in arse first

Kewcumber · 25/02/2008 10:56

Janni shame on you . I was trying to find a nice way of saying it....

I do think she looks too thin. But I don't think it is deliberate. I think it is stress related after the death of her mother. She has been quoted as saying she doesn't like being so thin and if people say how thin she is she doesn't take it as a compliment. And she may have had bad morning sickness. Hopefully she will start to bloom now.

She is stunningly beautiful. I didn't think so a few years ago but I think she is getting more beautiful.

SoupDragon · 25/02/2008 11:08

Congratulations to them. And a hefty dose of good luck.

Angelina may well be naturally thin, but the thinness in that picture isn't how she's looked before when naturally thin.

Janni · 25/02/2008 12:18

Yes Kewcumber, my head is well and truly hung in shame..Hasn't made any difference though - they're still going on about her weight. Must not return to this thread, it's driving me nuts!

Kewcumber · 25/02/2008 12:37

lol - out of pure nosiness which of your chidlren (chronologically) was adopted?

mrsruffallo · 25/02/2008 13:26

Has anyone noticed how thin she is???

Janni · 25/02/2008 13:26

the third (and most precious, of course)!

mrsruffallo · 25/02/2008 13:30

yes, BUT has anyone noticed how THIN she is?????

DarrellRivers · 25/02/2008 13:39

i thought most celebs had assisted conception of some sort and that the reason there were so many celebs of a certain age with twin pregnancies was because that is how many they had chosen
call me cynical as well, but it is speedier to have your family through a twin pregnancy than two singletons, and less time spent as 'fat'

Kewcumber · 25/02/2008 13:44

twin pregancies increase with age.

IVF is truly horrible whether you are a cleb or not, its also not very succesful - I can't imagine anyone doing it unless they needed to.

belgo · 25/02/2008 13:46

that's true kewcucmber, and also multiple pregnancies are far riskier then single pregnancies, so I don't see why anyone would think it more convenient to have twins then single babies.

I know plenty of families with twins (all concieved naturally), it's not uncommon.

Kewcumber · 25/02/2008 13:48

which clebs have had twins - I know Julia Roberts... who else?

belgo · 25/02/2008 13:49

Julia Roberts, J Lo, that woman off of Desperate Housewives. Can't think of any more - so it's not that many!
