Honest!

I have just got around to reading the Guardian Weekend mag and there on p 66 is the ad - Marco looking moody, fingering a dangerous-looking knife, with the caption

8 restaurants
3 stars
1 cube

"when it comes to seasoning food, one of these magic little cubes is all I've ever needed"

Has anyone told Michelin?

jean christophe is making -piles- -of- -steaming- -shite- ready meals for them isn't he?

Carmenere · 06/02/2008 21:59

He is renowned for using everyday ingredients such as ketchup and worchestershire sauce so this doesn't suprise me much.

flossish · 06/02/2008 22:00

a feck why didn't my thing work. I get it. Its findus anyway.

Carmenere · 06/02/2008 22:01

He is totally shaggable though, so it doesn't matter

WideWebWitch · 06/02/2008 22:31

Fucking nice picture of him though, so who cares

if he really uses Knorr I'm a Chinaman

notnowbernard · 06/02/2008 22:35

He really does love the Worcester sauce though.

Can't imagine him with a stock cube, however.

When is he next on the telly?!

WendyWeber · 06/02/2008 22:37

Does he really? We lob Worcs sauce into a lot of things in this house, maybe we deserve a star too

'Tis true!

I watched him on Hell's Kitchen use (no exaggeration) about half a bottle on some sort of sauce he was demonstrating.

I have since followed his lead and been very liberal with the WS bottle. It works!

WendyWeber · 06/02/2008 23:35

The last line of the ad says

"delicious honest food without the whistles and bells...just the stars"

That's dishonest, isn't it
