Doesn't seem like there was much alternative to shooting him - and he necessitated that choice when he strapped a bomb to his waist. How he got to the point where he though that was a good idea, who helped him on that journey, and why is what concerns me more.

No idea why anyone needed to show it - or film it tbh. I agree with LL - dead is dead, most of us don't need pictures to understand.
