I don't know all celebrity stories this well, it's just that this one made me sad for NC at the time - trying for a baby for so long and just when you are finally pregnant, your husband leaves you for another woman and you lose the baby

Wonder what wil be said about her and TC marriage in the new Andrew Morton book thats due out in the States middle of this month?

I think its a shame she doesnt appear to spend much time with her adopted children, and recently asmitted in an interview that they dont call her 'Mom'.

Oh and of course TC tried to cheat her out of the half of his assets that she was entitled to under California laws because they were married just a little over the required 10 years. He failed, though. She got half his net worth.

she does love the children as her own, cos they are her own, shes the only mum theyve ever known and although she didnt give birth to them, they are still her own...it was in response to people(in press) separating adopted children from birth children.

I find it extremely odd that her children with TC don't call her 'Mom' and that she doesn't see them so much. I don't know the ins and outs of why but I find it hard to understand.

She lives in Australia. Might be why she doesn't see them every day.

Regardless of the circumstances it must have been really awful for NC to have her marriage break up and end up so physically separated from her step-children. Hope all goes well for her. That would send me straight to the looney bin I think.

but they weren't her step children. They were her children. I just don't get why when a couple separates one would choose to live so far away from one's children. And yes it is excused because they are adopted. I think that is outrageous, sorry.

I read the reason she doesn't see her adopted children is that their custody agreement has the kids with TC in the school year and her in the summer.

I would have let TC keep his money, but fought to have the children.

As regards seeing her adoptive kids... she has her own private jet and is often flying backwards and forwards from America to Oz. She could see her kids far more often than she does.....if she really wanted to. And as regards the custody deal, no one really knows what was in that.. but surely as the kids mother she would have fought for far more contact than she is believed to have? I know I would.

I think the point is they call Katie Holmes 'Mom' and she has been in their lives for a lot shorter period than Nicole who they call by name. Thats what makes it odd.
