In case another one goes tits up!. here.
He's going to learn to fly so he can gain experience of all branches of the Armed Forces. obviously the only aspect of RAF life is flying! I bet he has all the proper equipment and doesn't have to go on ebay and buy the latest boots and jackets

There is a kind of "Oor Wullie" look about him. Could just see him in dungarees sitting on top of a pail.

The Jahanqir in St. Andrews has a bonnie picture of him on the wall.

Actually LL He's going to learn to fly them in 4 months! Maybe they are scared to let him loose in a Tornado, or a Eurofighter

When his father learned to fly in the Hawk, he flew in a specially prepared one that had a better and more effecient ejector seat than all the other trainees

Charles was in the RAF, I've seen pictures of him in RAF uniform in the officers mess

Yes he did 6 months at Cranwell in 1971 to get his RAF wings, then he joined the Navy where he stayed for 6 years. he currnetly holds the ranks of Rear Admiral, Major General and Air-Vice Marshall
