It has been reported that a 2 year old child has died after being mauled by 3 'out of control' dogs.

When will these tragedies stop?

I cannot even begin to understand why someone with children who wants a dog would go out and purchase a breed like one of these.

Foolish idiots

Well the family certainly didn't buy the dog for its beauty and instagramability did they? I wonder what attracts people to ugly looking dogs like this as a family pet.

Yes I was referring to the case with the Rottweilers.

@Mumoblue

These stories make me so sad and so nervous. I grew up with dogs, decently sized ones too. I had two large dogs growing up and I never had even the slightest concern that they might bite, and my aunt used to bring over her huge dopey Rottweiler and me and the other kids would play with her.

These days because of all these stories I don’t know how people trust dogs around their kids! Maybe I’m paranoid but it just seems like a risk I couldn’t take. If my cat bites my son he’d be sad but a dog bite could be fatal. Sad

Is this due to badly socialised “pandemic puppies”? Are dog attacks increasing or are they just being highlighted more, I wonder.

I remember a spate of children being killed/ seriously injured by dogs when I was a kid and I’m now in my 40s so it’s definitely not a new thing, the precious incidents sparked the dangerous dogs act I believed.
