was only a small story on sky & bbc news sites.

WendyWeber · 17/12/2007 22:21

It's been on BBC radio news every bulletin.

Saturn74 · 17/12/2007 22:22

Pleased for them.

ggirlsbells · 17/12/2007 22:24

also didn't know she was pregnant

they kept that quiet

krazykoolkazza · 17/12/2007 23:36

In that photo the little girl Louise bears a striking resemblance to her Aunt Princess Anne as a child.

Bink · 17/12/2007 23:39

I am rather proud of them for being so low-key about this all.

And delighted about the little boy.

lojomamma · 18/12/2007 02:31

No name as yet, but he has a Title though! Viscount Severn although in the End he will be The Duke of Edingburgh. [rolly eye emotion but not in a sarcastic way (if thats poss)]

ABudafulSightWereHappyTonight · 18/12/2007 06:13

It is good news. Must have been a worrying pregnancy for her after what happened before and she had an ectopic too.

AFAIK there is an issue with Louise's eyes - not sure what.

NAB3littlemonkeys · 18/12/2007 08:08

I stayed up to watch the BBC 10pm news and it was the very last item. Bit surprised about that tbh.

Any name yet?

Congratulations

From what I have read (not that I read much about the Royals!) they want to keep their children out of the public eye generally.

In the paper it says they want to keep her out of the public eye due to the stressful time they have had trying to raise a family. I think good for them. The new baby won't be a HRH but will be Viscount Severn.

louise looks a lot like princess anne as a child in that picture in teh telegraph.

i'm really pleased they're all ok, her last birth was very scary

Good for them. I had no idea she was pg either, although there always seemed to be some rumour going around that she was pg (pretty much constantly since their DD was born !).

what lovely news

edam · 18/12/2007 22:39

How lovely. They must have been so worried after the previous birth.

It's funny this 'no HRH' thing. A bit like Camilla calling herself Duchess of Cornwall. They are automatically HRHs whether or not their parents choose to use the title. Just as Camilla is, actually, Princess of Wales.

lojomamma · 18/12/2007 22:43

So had I got the wrong end of the stick then. I just assumed that if Edward will take his title (DofE)in the end then when Edward dies the new baby would be D of E.

PaulaYatesbiggestfan · 18/12/2007 22:44

look here so sweet
