This is absolutely awful. I know on MN we gather and giggle about parking CFs and diagrams but this is horrific.

The children were indoors at the time.

My DH and I looked at this estate to live on a few years ago. The victims' lives must have been hell.

I can't comprehend this story, it's just so shocking and heartbreaking for the children.

It’s just greed, as many houses crammed into an area as possible and insufficient parking. All sold as a “green” policy because of course people are going dump their cars if they can’t park them.

There's an estate near me that was advertised with plans to build a train station for the local line to London nearby. That was about 10 years ago and it's nowhere to be seen. They all have to drive into town through rush hour traffic and fight for parking near the main station instead.

I think the parking is a bit of a red herring, I'm sure it must have caused stress and annoyance but to kill two people, stab them to death on their doorstep...

It's just unbelievable that anyone could do that.

The poor kids, it's heartbreaking.
