OK, this piece isn't news as such, but it's in a paper so I don't know where else to put it; anyway I just wanted to comment having read it that although I know lots of people on here can't stand her, I like Zoe Williams...

I know some new mums are dynamic and organised and actually Get Things Done while having a new baby, but I was utterly rubbish so I am identifying with her like mad.

(I know it's several weeks old but I only came across it just now because the Guardian homepage is broken although everything else seems to be working - how does that happen, anybody? - so I was doodling about on their site)

Actually I can believe that she's not a super organised mum tbh, even though I'm not a huge fan.

That upstairs-downstairs-in-my-lady's-chamber bit made me laff - she wants to try being on the steep slope downhill towards 60, then she'll really know about forgetfulness
