First British woman convicted of Islamist terror offences

She called herself the "Lyrical terrorist", wrote poems about beheadings, owned dangerous books about poisons and bomb-making but has no actual connection with a terror group.

So is she a terrorist? Or guilty of thought crime?

well - whichever she is, to say that she ' didn't even realise there was such a thing as extremism' or that lyrical terrorist ' sounded cool' she is at least guilty of being monumentally stupid.Or useless at coming up with convincing lies, one of the two.

I suspect there is a lot about her which has not yet been revealed actually, watch this space.

Is 'lyrical terorrist' meant to be the muslim equivelant of lyrical gangsta then???

I find it faintly ludicrous that anyone in this political climate, who is even faintly acquainted to islam in any way, would call themselves an anything terorrist, surely that's just inviting the police to come knocking....

yes quite. She wrote poems praising Bin Laden but had no awareness of extremism....duh.
