This is absolutely horrifying, but unfortunately having had a traumatic birth experience myself (though thankfully we were both fine, eventually, and at a different hospital/trust) I can well believe everything they've said.
Let's hope this investigation improves practices, countrywide. Women and their babies deserve better.
