He sounds like a great Dad.

mamazon · 16/10/2007 23:31

see this is why he is on my top ten men list

WendyWeber · 17/10/2007 00:10

There is a very good longer version of this in the Daily Mail, of all things (Mind you it terms it a form of CP and I don't think that can be right, it's a genetic disorder isn't it?)

It does add pics of gorgeous girlfriend of course

I particularly like the way he talks about his ex and gives her all the credit for getting help for their son.

Oh, and this bit made me laugh: 'When they told me first he was going to have occupational therapy I swear to God I thought "he's a bit f*ing young to be asking him what he's going to do with his life'

(He's kidding, right?)

expatinscotland · 17/10/2007 00:36

his new girlfriend's got a face like a well skelpt erse!

good article, i thought, he actualy sounds like he is involved, doesn't he? ian rankin's son has angelman's syndrome as well, doesn't he? i remember speaking to him about it, he was getting some award in the city of edinburgh and his boy LOVED all the attention.

expatinscotland · 17/10/2007 00:46

she does have a gorgeous body. but she's 22 and never had any children.

face like a well skelpt erse, though .

'There is no heartbreak about it, it's not a sad story. I'm incredibly blessed to have him in my life. He has enriched my life incredibly and I wouldn't have it any other way.'

I always thought he was a bit of a knob before now, but that line just completely changes my opinion of him. Mucho respect.

FlightAttendant · 17/10/2007 12:38

Oh dear I am going to be called a bitter, cynical single mother for suggesting this, but it doesn't say how much he even sees the child...if that was my son's 'ex-dad' talking about me and my son, I would find it incredibly patronising considering he never lifted a finger to help me bring said child up.
And to be getting all this great publicity for admitting she has done all the work???

I could be wrong of course.

FlightAttendant · 17/10/2007 12:39

Fio I agree...

"Face like a well skelt arse"?

Does that mean that only people with a conventionaly "beautiful" face are thought to be of any account?

Despite being an obviously intelligent person,
studying to be a doctor, she is demeaned for no other reason than someone doesnt like the way she looks!

Glad I don't have my pic on a profile.

allgonebellyup · 17/10/2007 17:07

er she looks tiny bit chubby to me!

but thats beside the point. He sounds like a good bloke..

AitchTwoOh · 17/10/2007 17:25

chubby? she's got a beautiful figure and seems perfectly pretty to me. not to mention the fact that shes a tcd medic so she must be a smart cookie.

Agree, she looks pretty and has a gorgeous figure. Must be awful to be in the public eye.

chubby???? WTF? If you think that's chubby then please don't ever voice that opinion round pre-pubescent girls or teens!

She has a beautiful, healthy figure - and she probably still gets periods, unlike the size zeros of the world.

Sorry but I think that's an appalling comment.

StIncognita · 17/10/2007 17:45

Completely agree with the about her being chubby. Are you from Lilliput, allgonebellyup?

AitchTwoOh · 17/10/2007 18:10

i have become slightly obsessed with the beautiful way her waist curves into her hips. and so is the guy behind her in the photo, by the looks of things.

StIncognita · 17/10/2007 18:18

lol, Aitch. oo, I think I would, you know

nooka · 17/10/2007 18:23

She has a lovely figure. He on the other hand doesn't look so good topless. dh has a crush on Colin Farrell, so I'll be showing him that one

Wisteria · 17/10/2007 18:41

I wouldn't be kicking him out of bed for much though
