New lead in madeleine mccann case

Desperately hoping her family get some answers this time.

It’s absolutely undeniable that the MM case has received disproportionate publicity and funding compared to every other missing child case. It’s ludicrous to pretend that it hasn’t. The one that sticks in my mind is Daniel Entswistle, the little boy who went to the local shop for his mum and never returned. His bike was found leaning against a wall and then just nothing.
Along with many other cases which have never been solved but which we barely hear about.
I highly doubt this news will come to anything anyway.
This guy has been on the police radar for literally decades. It has a feel of clutching at Straws... there is no forensic evidence to link him, he’s just one of many deeply unpleasant characters who were living in the area at that time.
The trouble is, even if someone comes forward now and gives information against him, it’s likely to be some other low life, probably another criminal trying to do a deal with the cops, or a former cell mate or girlfriend with a grudge. It’ll be their word against his- and that isn’t evidence that’s ‘beyond reasonable doubt.’

My gut feeling is this will all die down soon and we won’t hear much until more public funds are wanting for the next god knows how many years of police time.

Of course we’d all love someone to be brought to justice but really? After 13 years and absolutely zero forensic evidence of what happened? We’ve also been here before... for literally years the ‘suspicious man carrying a child’ was flagged as being supremely important - and it seems it took years of police time until it was established it was an innocent dad carrying his child. Then there was the ‘ugly pock marked man’ hanging about the complex. Then there was the ‘hugely important woman with cropped short hair’ who was apparently the key to solving the mystery.
None of these have come to anything.
Terribly sad but I will be gobsmacked If anyone is ever convicted with regard to MM.
I would love to see justice for her because she’s the innocent victim here but I can’t see it happening

I dunno. My gut feeling, reading about this suspect, is that the police are fairly certain they have their guy, but they don't have enough evidence to build a case that will stand up in court.

His case has been partly solved following one of the workers on the building site confessing to accidentally killing him.
That worker is now is dead and can't be questioned so it's all just hearsay.
The digger toy Ben was holding at the time of his disappearance was found in the area that was mention in the confession leading police to believe that really is what happen.

The case of William Tyrrell who went missing is still on going since he vanished in 2014.

Have been keeping up with Madeline news everyday since this suspect came along. I really hope they are close to solving it

All these lost babies. The poor families.

I would love to see this case solved in my lifetime but on the other hand I really do not want her to have died at the hands of this devil. That would be awful for the parents.
