Clearly I wasn't there and I don't know what happened but his crime was forgery.

Most Western countries don't have guns, customary unofficial racial segregation, and a police force who regularly murder African Americans in public. That's what I meant by unique.

Racism and racial oppression is expressed in different ways elsewhere. Needless to say all forms of racism should be condemned and faught against.

His name was George Floyd and there is a petition calling for all the police officers present to be arrested. You have to have a US postcode to sign it but just Google one (Or use 90210).

If you are white person it is no longer enough to be 'not racist' we have to be actively anti racism. We have to educate ourselves and take action, even just signing petitions or donating to George's Go Fund Me, Colour of Change, Black Lives Matter or another good cause. What the OP said about institutional racism is true. Those people in America wouldn't be rioting if they didn't have to be.

This happens alot all over just not recorded, George floyd did not deserve to die over a false $ which turned out to be REAL! I am angered at this, racism isn't born it's taught, acab isn't right though, there's just not enough good cops... I have no words I'm just sorry to everyone who has to deal with this

They're saying he had covid19. That seems odd - do they test every death even when it's murder?

It was horrendous and so was the other police officer who just stood by like some kind of look out in broad day light.

The fact he did NOTHING and could of saved his life is what I find the most upsetting.
