Police are currently investigating how the flange of pixies ended up being abandoned on the moorland. The press are out in force looking for someone to blame. Forensics are trying to find out if any of the pixies have been drugged.

I think all of this idle speculation about us pixies is most unfair.

Please stop

(but you are right about the collective noun)

Sheherazadethegoat · 13/09/2007 15:58

the pixie's natural habitat of bright green grassland with rainbows and red spotty mushrooms is disappearing hence their appearance on the moorland. they are endangered and even though no one really gives a shite middle aged women with wispy grey hair and no bras have set up a charity to care for them.

Kathyis6incheshigh · 13/09/2007 16:57

The Daily Mail has picked up the story now. Apparently they are asylum seeker pixies and will be stealing all our pots of gold.

Pixiefish · 13/09/2007 17:00

oh no we've been rumbled.

We also love wet areas- hence the fish part of my name

Rhubarb · 14/09/2007 11:56

The Daily Mail is blaming the slight increase in crime on the pixie population, pointing out that it is far easier for them to break into people's houses using cat flaps. They cited the example of the pixie found hiding in lulumama's knicker drawer.

They are suggesting a government funded cull.
