Madeline Case - Have I just heard right?

MrsPuddleduck · 07/09/2007 13:01

I'm sure I just heard on Sky news that police have found traces of Madeline's blood in a hire care rented five weeks after she disappeared?

Am I right or did I hear wrong?

How can it be so?

I think its not that black and white. I doubt the Mccanns had anything to do with this.
What exactly would it mean if blood was found in the car? That they kept her body for 5 weeks somewhere and noone noticed? Thats just a load of rubbish!

MrsPuddleduck · 07/09/2007 14:32

I don't think that the McCanns could have hidden a body for 25 days.

I think it is very sad that the blood is confirmed to be Madeline's though and I can't help but wonder what happended to her and where she is now.

I feel less hopefull that they will find her alive now.

I've never heard of white wizzard...... I'd say Daz was better at getting tough stains out of whites.

why?

LIZS · 07/09/2007 15:06

"Sky seem to know more than the BBC on this one. Just looked at both news pages and the Sky one definitely mentions finding the blood. " I doubt that is the case - Sky are simply more prone to elaborating before the fact than BBC. Think tabloid vs Times. I sthere relaly any point to this repeated protracted speculation ?

FLIER · 07/09/2007 15:09

SkyNews seem to be very sensationalistic.

They don't seem to reporting facts at all.

"gosh iCod, i don't think this is a very appropriate time for jokes, do you?"

tragedy + time = comedy.
t'is the way of the world.

lissielou · 07/09/2007 15:15

the info on the sky website is pretty much the same as is on the bbc website

MrsPuddleduck · 07/09/2007 15:20

icod is cleaning apparently!

If that's the case then my house should be the cleanest (at least on this thread).

BBC are saying the same thing about the blood and you can usually rely on them.(sorry icod).

To return to the "portuguese police must be crackers" message a little further down - just because they speak Portuguese doesn't mean that they are all twats. I sure even Portugal has some intelligent people too.

The chances of a child being murdered by their parents is a lot higher than a child being murdered by a complete and utter stranger.

It does seem to be very far fetched that the McCanns have murdered their daughter. I can't see what their motive would be.

I fear that that their remaining two children will be taken into care fairly swiftly if the allegations are taken seriously.

Figroll ROFL at "even"

my comment about the police was because it has taken so long to get to this point and they have said on many occasions 'we are close to identifying a named suspect' - and they clearly weren't - was that a lie or optimism?

the apartment wasnt secure for ages

no search happened for a day

Im not saying any other police force are better, nor am I anti-police - Im just not convinced this team have handled this professionally, consistently or intelligently
