sparklygothkat · 31/08/2007 20:44

LadyVictoriaOfCake · 31/08/2007 20:45

maybe i should've made dd3 newsworthy with her crop of hair lol.

unless this baby was a baldy baby to start with.

wouldnt say it was news..arent there loads of babies with full heads of hair???
Little girl at toddler group had that much hair was jet black and she never lost any of it.

BrownSuga · 31/08/2007 20:47

i thought it was going to be a hairy all over baby.

I mean really "was born eight weeks ago and her hair has not stopped growing since" isn't that what hair does?

LittleBella · 31/08/2007 20:47

ROFL

Reminds me of the old rumour that Richard III was born with teeth and hair down to his shoulders.

Ergo he must have killed the princes in the tower.

Maybe this baby is a sinister re-incarnation of the last Plantagenet king?

LittleBella · 31/08/2007 20:48

Yes I was thinking of that Father Ted episode with the hairy babies

JudgeJudyAndExecutioner · 31/08/2007 21:15

Hair shmair my ds was not only born with a full head of hair he was born with a quiff, I kid you not, everyone who saw him commented on it and midwives gave me strange looks like they thought I was styling it when no-one was looking.

UnquietDad · 31/08/2007 21:17

She looks like a lovely baby!

southeastastra · 31/08/2007 21:20

Ahhh love hairy babies, there was a baby like that a the baby clinic when DS2 was little, only I'm sure the baby at the clinic had more hair, it was quite amusing it was like a glossy wig.

suwoo · 31/08/2007 21:29

Jesus Misdee, your girls were hairy!! My DD had almost no hair until 12 months and DS at 8 months looks bald as he is so fair

peanutbear · 31/08/2007 21:31

peanutbear · 31/08/2007 21:32

MyTwopenceworth · 31/08/2007 21:37

Both my lads were born with a full head of shiny black hair. Had to trim it because it was in their eyes. Nobody ever thought they were dogs though.

Folks thought she was holding a dog........ Dressed in baby clothes...... Maybe if you're Paris Hilton.

LOL at the confusion between the baby and the dog.

Maybe the baby was snarling and barking?

nooka · 31/08/2007 21:46

I also thought that it was a baby with hair all over. The phrase "hairy baby" to me doesn't conjure up a baby with just a full head of hair - we don't call grown ups with long hair hairy after all. Cute baby though!

ImSoNotTelling · 16/12/2009 22:39

Not news
V cute though

jemart · 16/12/2009 23:00

I was expecting hair all over as well, totally not news. All three of my dc had a full head of hair at birth just like this little girl, my MW reckoned about 50% of babies have hair when they are born so it is far from a freak occurance.
