Fab article, would love to know who the "cold fish" comment was about.

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 17/08/2007 10:08

greataunt, i wondered too and the 'cashing in' can't believe anyone would say such a thing!!!

FlameBatfink · 17/08/2007 10:09

Oh fgs - sobbing again!!

DoubleBluff · 17/08/2007 10:16

FAbulous article, a great tribute to Misdee, Peter and her family and to the generosity of so many mumsnetters.
Lovley to have 'good news' in a paper for a change.

BreeVanDerCampLGJ · 17/08/2007 10:18

It has TMJ hasn't it.

She should give CJ a whack of her fishy tale.

fryalot · 17/08/2007 10:21
Smile
SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 17/08/2007 10:23

ah janitor that makes a lot more sense, i did wonder if it had anything to do with COD!

mamazon · 17/08/2007 10:24

omg that article has had me blubbing.

i need to get out more i really do.

i missed the thread as i haven't been on for a bit....but i was txt and told thathe was going for transplant by another MNer. i was so excited i just had to come on and find out how he was doing. i am delighted to see he is doing well.

cannot believe anyone that is here regularly would ever dare incinuate that Misdee was "cashing in" quite frankly I am offended by that comment. what low people they must be to think that.

but hopefully you recognise such vile comments are not to be given any thought Misdee.

i wish both you and Peter the very best luck in his recovery....and i look forward to reading all about it.

growingbagpuss · 17/08/2007 10:26

Fab article - its wierd seeing "real names" - sooooo pleased Peter is past that awful 48hours. there are so few of us who can really know - but you have helped us understand - and let the good news just keep on coming.

elesbells · 17/08/2007 10:28

fab article. its nice to get good press for mn for a change.

the cashing in comment came from a namechanger, so whoever it was obviously wasnt brave enough to give their pov in 'person' anyway, so not worth a thought imo.

ricepuddingpaddington · 17/08/2007 10:29

Lovely article - though we all sound a bit barmy!
I absolutely love robinpud's suggestion that your new name should be BraveHeart, Misdee. What could be more appropriate for you after all this?

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 17/08/2007 10:32

ricepudding we all are a bit nuts no?

NadineBaggott · 17/08/2007 10:38

that's a fab article.

So pleased everything is going well misdee

saggarmakersbottomknocker · 17/08/2007 10:40

It's a great article at the cold fish comment.

lucykate · 17/08/2007 10:57

have just read this, have the in laws staying and fil been out to buy his usual paper, the telegraph. has anyone else seen the actual article in the paper??

rofl - there is no pic of peter or misdee, but there is a shot of 3 rather glam 'yummy mummies' crowded round a laptop

fryalot · 17/08/2007 11:06

oh, yeah, lucykate, that would be me and my two cyber-friends

Marina · 17/08/2007 11:10

I like Cassandra Jardine and I love the article
Hope all is going well today misdee XXX
