Will remember that when they or their families need help from the police in the future.

And yes, I am being 'outraged of Tunbridge Wells' about this, but it P's me off.

It was the courts that sent their nearest and dearest down for trying to blow up a load of Londoners, so why aren't they aiming their vitriol at the justice system?

southeastastra · 21/07/2007 21:16

what's the story?

WendyWeber · 21/07/2007 21:18

Are they saying their nearest & dearest are innocent? Or that the Londoners would have deserved it?

In the most unracist way possible, if they don't like us or our country, why don't they piss off?

Bubble99 · 21/07/2007 21:18

Trial of failed 21/7 suicide bombers. Found guilty and sent to prison. These women were outside the court.

Link please, bubble? Can't find anything.

Bubble99 · 21/07/2007 21:22

This was in the news this week. All of the men pleaded not guilty and said that they were just trying to 'frighten' people.

It was found that they had been planning the attack for months.

Oh well then, I stand by my post of 21.18.

Esp if their defence is that it wasn't serious - then it can't have been because of anything "we" have done, can it?

Bubble99 · 21/07/2007 21:27

Sorry. Wrong trial. It was the trial of the men imprisoned for calling for beheadings of 'those who insult Islam.' Danish cartoon thing.

If you google 'British Police Go To Hell' you'll find links.

OP posts:
Bubble99 · 21/07/2007 21:30

These people, who choose to live in a country which values free speech, want to 'behead' anyone who practices ( and prints) that same free speech.

That's the one!!

Grrrr.

I wish the police had some kind of blacklist for these women. So that, when their car gets nicked and they need a report for their insurance stuff, the police could say...'Oh, sorry, I can't help you as you want me to go to hell...'

Grrr again.

OP posts:
Bubble99 · 21/07/2007 21:38

UCM. Why the deep sigh?

I have acknowledged that I am 'angry of Tunbridge Wells' about this.

Can you not understand why this would P me off?

I am interested. Debate would be good.

Daily Mail report

OK, it's the Mail. If the reporting is wrong then I would happily withdraw my earlier comments.

southeastastra · 21/07/2007 21:53

extremists but it's so worrying, why would they feel so much hate

DrNortherner · 21/07/2007 21:57

This saddens and infuriates me at the same time.

How must those poliec feel stood doing their job in front of that

Religious extremists go to hell is what I say.

expatinscotland · 21/07/2007 21:58

What a lovely person. NOT.

I think when 'free speech' crosses the line into inciting violence, it's not on anymore.

REBELlatrixlestrange · 21/07/2007 22:02

As I've just waved DH goodbye as he goes on a night shift, this story has sickened me.

Ripeberry · 22/07/2007 14:55

They just do it as they know no-one can stop them as we are all too terrified of insulting anything to do with Islam.
They are just trying to stir up hattred and i bet they don't do this kind of thing in France.
We are all just too gentle and they know it.
Just think of them as sad phycos and ignore them.

mamazon · 22/07/2007 14:58

i actually fear that extremists will very soon be running this country.

the police are often too scared to dealw ith the minor offences 9like these women) because they fear being accused of racism.

such small acts then build as they get away with it and it spreads like a disease.

until this country and its judicial system realise that it is not racist to tell someone to abide by the rules and regulations of the country they chose to live in, we will forever look undert our park benches for abandoned rucksacks

Blandmum · 22/07/2007 15:03

Interesting that the last lot who did the 'Placard' bit were tried( I'm sure to their total surprize) and found guilty of, IIRC, incitement to racial hatered (or was it incitement to murder).

My be why this lot were damning people to hell rather than calling for their heads to be cut off.

in an odd way I suppose this means a little progress to rationiaty, or at least a better understanding that freedome of spech does not meen the freedom to incite death or hate.

moondog · 22/07/2007 15:06

Hmmm,I think the best response to idiots like this is to ignore them meself.

Blokes have put them up to it of course.

My sister teaches in France and a couple of years ago, there were big marches in France condemning ban on headscarves in schools.

In my sister's town, anyone who actually tried to talk to the young women marching was held back by 'uncles' and 'brothers'

Nobs.

JoolsToo · 22/07/2007 15:15

let's face it they could be blokes, we can only see their eyes .....

moondog · 22/07/2007 15:19

Good point.
They often are.
Loads of my father's students in Saudi tell him about blokes who do this.

Blandmum · 22/07/2007 15:24

I'll go one step furher and laugh at them.

Pissing them off would amuse me, and irritate them.

meowmix · 22/07/2007 15:26

not sure the police can do anything can they? technically (ie clever lawyer time) they're not inciting violence or racial hatred

Not pleasant at all.
