What is all this speed reading about? All this "I stayed up for hours. Job done." It's a really strange way to read a book. Isn't it?

FlameDelacour, Hi I had a day like yours first time ever and probably the last but it was absolute bliss .

I am trying to persuade my tv obsessed dh to take holiday away "from it all", quite cottage, no tv, no electronic games etc. of course he thinks I'm mad!

I saw two grown women speed reading HP in the pub yesterday. One of them was reading faster than the other, and the slow coach was obviously getting really annoyed. Competitive speed reading! PMSL. Saddos. Bless 'em. (Bless you all)

To me, speed reading is like speed eating chocolate. Why would you want to rush? where's the enjoyment in that?

i READ EVERY BOOK INCREDABLY QUICKLY BUT THATS EBCUASE I AM A FAST READER! i ALSO FIND THAT ONCE I GET ENGROSSED IN A FAB BOOK LIKE HP I CNA'T PUT IT DOWN!
